Gordon and Karen Anderson 65th wedding anniversary celebration to be held June 13

Gordon P. Anderson and Karen L. (Dahlstrom) Anderson are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary. The couple married June 11, 1961 at Center Baptist Church in Lansing. Friends, family and acquaintances are invited to the couple’s anniversary celebration at the Waukon Wellness Center, 1220 3rd Ave. NW, Saturday, June 13 from 2-5 p.m. The celebration will be hosted by Dave Sr., Christine, Terry, Sue, Chad, Denise and Rebecca.

The couple’s family includes children: Dave and Christine (Anderson) Enyart, Waukon, Terry and Sue (Butler) Anderson, Westminster, CO, Chad and Denise (Scull) Anderson, Driggs, ID, Rebecca (Anderson) Bednarski, Waukon, (Robert Bednarski), Dubuque. Grandchildren are: Dave Jr. and Megan (Bulman) Enyart, Chasity (Enyart) Bushaw (Dan Bushaw), Dustin and Amanda (Newton) Enyart, Dan Enyart (Nikki Dotzler), Jon Anderson, Sarah Anderson, Alex and Emily (Lagana) Anderson, Beau and Andrea (Hemingway) Anderson, Zach and Erin (Anderson) Hauge, Benjamin Bednarksi (Makayla Corkery), Travis and Brytnee (Bednarski) Colsch, Brennan Bednarski, Becker Bednarski (Audrey Bryant). Great-grandchildren are: Kathryn Enyart, Keith Enyart, Zach and Madesta (Bushaw) White, Karson and Nevaeh (Bushaw) Lubben, Jada Bushaw, Kaira Bushaw (Alex Leiran), Miles and Jasmyn (Enyart) Howe, Serenity Enyart, Tayla Enyart, Miciah Dotzler, Dexter Dotzler, Antonio Rosas, Vinnie Anderson Allen, Kalon Anderson, Evelyn Anderson, Jack Anderson, Damien Anderson, Sadie Anderson, Barrett Colsch in addition to great-great-grandchildren: Hazel White, Alaric White, Kolter Lubben and Brinley Howe.

All monetary gifts will be given as mission support to their Grandson Alex Anderson and family. Alex has committed to be the general contractor for the rebuild of Spruce Lodge in Glacier View, Alaska, which burned to the ground in 2025. Alex, his wife Emily, and their three children Kalon (11), Evelyn (7), and Jack (5), will be self-supported missionaries traveling and living in their renovated toy hauler.
