The Waukon boys golf team played through one of its busiest weeks of the season, playing three different dates and coming within just three strokes of recording an undefeated week. The Tribe linksters opened the week with a 162-176 victory over Charles City Tuesday, April 25 before edging out a 173-175 triumph at South Winneshiek Thursday, April 27.

The Indians’ lone blemish against four opponents this week came by just three strokes in a Friday, April 28 home triangular, as their 158 strokes in that event fell just a bit shy of visiting New Hampton’s  155 strokes but came in well ahead of the 188 strokes tallied by a Caledonia, MN squad also competing in the final home event for the Tribe of this 2023 spring season.
