Tami Magner (Fr.) was 2-for-3 with a double and a run April 6 as Luther downed Dubuque 6-3 and 5-3 in a softball doubleheader. Magner also helped in an April 7 split with St. Olaf. Luther won 4-2 and then lost 2-3.
Overall, Magner has the top slugging percentage for the Norse (.667) and is 3rd on the team with a.370 batting average.


Josh Tweedy (Sr.) was 5th in the 1500-meter (4:05.96) for the Iowa Hawkeyes at the April 9 Mark Messersmith Invitational at Northern Iowa.


Andy Schon (Fr.) of UNI recorded an 8th place finish in the 5000-meter run at the Mark Messersmith Invite in 16:59.86.
