Jill Christine Hackman and Brock Alan Helgerson exchanged wedding vows June 26, 2004 in Postville.
Parents of the couple are Lee Allan Hackman of Decorah and the late Wanda Hackman, and Richard and Sandie Helgerson of Postville.
Pastor Christopher Staley performed the 3:30 p.m. ceremony at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Matron of honor was Jennifer Kleppe of Decorah, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jacqueline Carrillo, sister of the bride, April Muhlbaurer, and Jennifer Olsgard, friends of the bride, all from the Des Moines area.
Best man was Bryce Helgerson of Portland, OR, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Jake Moore of Lebanon, NH, Darren Schneider of Ames, Artie Day of Iowa City, all friends of the groom.
Junior bridesmaid was Hannah Radloff of Postville, cousin of the groom. Junior groomsman was Nathan Reps of Lewiston, MN, cousin of the bride. Bell ringer was Grant Martin of Polk City, friend of the couple.
Seating guests were Wade Bucknell, Clay Koenig, Chris Crawford, all friends of the groom; and Carey Tweten, cousin of the bride.
Personal attendant was Melissa Hooper of Ankeny, friend of the bride.
Soloists were Laurel Ohloff, Bruce Day, and Pastor Staley. Music accompaniment was done by Otter Dreaming.
Host and Hostess were Dean and Kristi Reps of Lewiston, MN, uncle and aunt of the bride; and Verdine and Sue Houg of Postville, uncle and aunt of the groom.
The bride is a 2nd grade teacher for Cedar Falls Community Schools and the groom is a Field Sales Manager for Syngenta Seeds. The couple resides in Cedar Falls.
