Kai and Kaden Hexamer
Kai Martin and Kaden Douglas Hexamer, sons of Douglas Scott and Krystal Kay Martin Hexamer, were stillborn at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO January 7 and January 8, respectively.
Survivors include their parents of Cape Girardeau, MO; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Eva Hexamer of Desoto, IL; maternal grandparents, Dianne Martin of Monona and Kermit Martin of Waterville; uncles Brian Hexamer of Creve Coeur, IL and Jeff Hexamer of Folkston, GA; aunts Katrina Bigler of Carbondale, IL, Kolleen Thomas of Las Vegas, NV, and Jessica Martin of McGregor; and several cousins, great-aunts and great-uncles.
Kai and Kaden were preceded in death by an aunt, Carol Ann Hexamer; paternal great-grandparents, James and Bessie Martin Moore and Harold and Emojean Reynolds Hexamer; and maternal great-grandparents, Fred and Eda Geinzer Gordon and Edward and Florence Dresselhaus Martin.
Kai and Kaden will be laid to rest at a later date at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be given to St. Francis Birthing Center Bereavement Program.
Visitation was held at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home Monday, January 14.
