Lansing City Council meeting Jan. 3

The Lansing City Council met it regular session on Monday, January 3. During the two hour meeting, a motion was made to appoint Lisa Endres to fill the vacant council position. Endres and her husband, Gary live in Lansing with their three children.
      Mediacom representative, Thomas Bordwell reviewed with the Council the terms and agreement of the franchise.
      At its Monday, January 17 regularly scheduled meeting, the Lansing City Council reappointed Dave Moritz, Jr. as Fire Chief. Moritz will serve a one-year term. With the cold weather and conflicting registration meetings at Kee High School, the council adjourned early. A discussion was held on the water/sewer and street budgets with no decisions being made at this time.
