To the Editor:
In recognition of National Girl Scout Leader Day April 22, the members of the Conestoga Council Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the troop leaders throughout our council for the tremendous job they do of upholding the Girl Scout Promise and Law and empowering girls to reach their full potential. It is because of their generous contributions and dedication to the Girl Scout movement that girls have the opportunity to develop lifelong friendships, obtain decision-making skills and receive guidance for a successful future.
The energy and enthusiasm of these invaluable volunteers makes a difference in the lives of girls in our communities, and generates possibilities for girls to recognize and realize their talents in a fun and supportive environment. These generous adults donate their time and energy to plan and run meetings, organize distribution of product sales, and provide opportunities for girls throughout twelve counties to develop to their full potential and better their lives.
In recognition of Girl Scout Leader Day and every other day that you give of your time and heart for our girls, we express our appreciation to you.
Becky Hiatt, Chairperson
Karen Grode, CEO
