To the Editor:
Good News!! I want to tell all the people who have been saving and turning in Quillin’s sales slips that your support is making this good news possible.
The Alumni Foundation just received a check for the school’s roofing project from the Quillin’s Food Ranch Share Program in the amount of $868.83 for sales slips turned in from October 1 through December 31, 2004. They gave us a one percent rebate on the total eligible sales, which we deposited in the Citizen’s State Bank Alumni Account.
An expression of appreciation to parents and friends of the schools, and especially to Quillin’s.
The Share Program continues. Currently, we are collecting sales slips from January 1 through March 31. Please turn your slips in on time, as late slips cannot be counted. The last day for turning them in is April 14. There are collection boxes at the three Waukon banks, JaDecc’S, Allamakee Economic Development Office, and the five school offices.
Next we collect slips dated April 1 through June 30.
Did you see in the school board minutes that they are contracting to roof the high school? Good news!
Keep up the good savings. Thank you.
Lois Wiedenmann, Vice Chairman
Allamakee Community Schools Alumni Foundation
