Meth in our Community seminar coming Feb. 23

The Postville Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a seminar entitled "Meth in our Community" Thursday, Feb. 24 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Fine Arts and Civic Center. This free seminar will feature input from Jeremy Strub, Allamakee County Substance Abuse Coordinator; the Allamakee County Sheriff's Department; the Postville Police Department and Sherryl Paul of the Northeast Iowa Department of Correctional Services.
At the seminar, attendees will learn what meth looks like, what meth can do to you, what the dangers of meth include, what effect meth has on you and your loved ones, what the consequences of meth usage can be, and most of all where to get help.
