Tami Magner (Fr.) had an exceptional week at the plate for Luther softball, blasting a pair of homers and adding 4 RBI in 6 contests. The Norse split a pair with Cornell April 13, winning 7-2 before falling 5-10. April 14, Luther fell to Waldorf, 0-3 and 8-9, and then split with Simpson April 16, winning 2-1 and then losing 3-4 in a 9-inning game.
Josh Tweedy (Sr.) finished 14th in the 1500 meter run for Iowa at Saturday’s Tom Botts Invite at Columbia, Mo. He crossed the line in 4:00.38.
Andy Schon (Fr.) ran to an 8th place finish in the 3000 at Saturday’s Jim Duncan Invite at Drake. Schon, running for UNI, completed the race in 9:07.21.
