Chuck, Gen Rude to celebrate 50 years of marriage Feb. 19

Chuck and Gen Rude of Decorah will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005, with a family dinner.
Charles Rude of Decorah and Genevieve Larson of Dorchester were married Feb. 19, 1955, at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Decorah.
Their five children are Randy Rude, Joan (Donn) Smedsrud, Sue (Mike) Halverson, all of Decorah, Mary K. (Tom) Swinburn of Rock Island, Ill., and Jeff Rude of Minneapolis, Minn. They also have five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
