Christa Hammel (Fr., F) collected 14 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks, and a steal Feb. 9 as Upper Iowa downed Grinnell, 90-75. Feb. 13, Hammel had 6 points, 7 boards, 1 assist, a pair of blocks, and a steal as the Peacocks suffered a 73-67 loss to Waldorf.
Erica Langland (So., G) and the Coe Kohawks posted wins over Wartburg (69-62) and Cornell (86-33) and also fell to Simpson (71-43) during the past week. Langland had 3 points, 1 rebounds, 1 assist, and a steal in the stretch.
Andy Schon (Fr.) was 79th in the 3000 meters in 9:03.41 while competing during this weekend's Cyclone Classic hosted by Iowa State.
