Jon and Keya Sleister of McGregor announce the birth of their daughter, Abilene Lynn Sleister, March 9, 2015 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 7 lbs. and measured 19-1/2 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins a brother, Everitt (21 months).
Grandparents are Pat and the late Larry Sleister of Guthrie Center and Kim and Chris Pufahl of Mauston,  WI.

Brittany and Hector Vivero of Postville announce the birth of their daughter, Estrella Belen Vivero, March 12, 2015 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 7 lbs., 10 ozs. and measured 19 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins two siblings, Yosalin and Hector Vivero Jr.
Grandparents are Mark and Joan Seegmiller, Juana Rodriguez and Hector Duplan.

Roger and Evelyn Bigler of Decorah will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary and Roger’s 80th birthday with an open house Sunday, March 22 from 2-4 p.m at Decorah Lutheran Church, 309 Winnebago Street in Decorah. The event will be hosted by their children, Rhonda Olsgard, Roxanne Johnson and Robert Bigler.
