Hackett, Ferring to wed June 21

Becky Hackett and the late Brent Hackett of Harpers Ferry and Mike and Linda Ferring of Waukon announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their children, Danielle Hackett and Caleb Ferring, both of Coralville. The couple plans to exchange vows June 21 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Waukon.
The bride-elect is a 2010 graduate of Waukon Senior High and is currently attending the University of Iowa where she is majoring in Radiation Sciences. She is currently employed at James Van Allen Elementary as a youth counselor.
The groom-elect is a 2010 graduate of Waukon Senior High and a 2014 graduate of Coe College with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with intended endorsements in Industrial Technology, Health and Coaching. He will be student teaching in Cedar Rapids and Coralville this fall and is currently employed as a carpenter for Corridor Construction of Iowa City.
