McCormick, Geerdes joined in marriage at July 27 ceremony

Kendrin McCormick and Ross Geerdes were joined in marriage July 27, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in McGregor with Father Greg Bahl officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Tom and Beth McCormick of Harpers Ferry. The groom is the son of Brad and Sherry Geerdes of Monticello.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore “Lulu” by Hayley Paige JLM Couture, a vanilla, strapless fit-to- flare gown with a lace bodice, asymmetrically draped dupioni silk skirt, embellished waist band, extended chapel train and an elbow-length veil of double-tier ivory. She carried a bouquet of light pink garden roses, dark pink peonies, pink hypericum berries, succulents, twigs and lotus pods.
The bride and groom met in private before the wedding at the Villa Louis in Prairie du Chien, WI; the bride’s father drove her in his 1970 Ford Torino.
Arrangements of baby’s breath in birch bark vases and hurricanes filled with light pink roses and dark pink peonies decorated the altar. Music was provided by cellist Sam Naumann, organist Nancy Hammes, pianist Korine Schneider and Gabe Mozena, who played the bagpipes as the bride walked down the aisle.
The bride’s Matron of Honor was her sister, Korine Schneider. Bridesmaids were Nicole Geerdes, Karoline Geerdes, Jennifer McCormick, Kenzie Murray, Shelby Neuzil, Bethany Hammel and Katie Bohlen. Her personal attendants were Laura Herbers, Jessi Greenley, Megan Wagner, Mckenzie Wagner and Donna Beneke. The Flower Girl was Bekah Geerdes.
Bridesmaids wore blush pink chiffon strapless gowns with sweetheart necklines and pleated bodices by Bill Levkoff. They carried bouquets of light pink garden roses, dark pink peonies, pink hypericum berries, succulents, twigs and lotus pods.
The groom’s Best Man was his friend, Keenan Noble. Groomsmen were Jeremy Geerdes, Brian Geerdes, Kyle McCormick, Kale McCormick, Micah Schneider, Adam Fencik and Adam Bohlen. Ring bearers were Andrew Geerdes and Aaron Bohlen. Groomsmen wore tan suit-style tuxedos with dark tan striped vests and ties.
The reception was held at The Dousman House in Prairie du Chien, WI, hosted by Bill and Michelle Wagner and Lon and Jody Weber. Fresh pink and ivory flower arrangements created by the bride’s mother adorned the tables.
The couple honeymooned in Niagara Falls, Canada and now make their home together in New Vienna.
