Steven and Amber Hendricks of Monona announce the birth of their daughter, Ava Mae Hendricks, born November 5, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 8 lbs. 11 ozs. and measured 22 inches in length at the time of her birth.

Grandparents are Rick and Debbie Moose of Monona and Tom and Lynn Hendricks of Cuba City, WI. Great-grandparents are Marilyn Moose of Monona, Don Dalsing of Hazel Green, WI, and Tom and Lois Hendricks of Arcadia, FL.

Phil and Wendy (Barrette) Norton of Waukon will be celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary Saturday, November 12 with family and friends at Empty Nest Winery, Waukon.

The Nortons were married  November 9, 1991 in Madison, WI. They are the parents of Tatum (TJ) Iverson of Waukon and Callissa Norton of Cedar Rapids. They also have two grandchildren, Evan and Levi Iverson.
 

Brad O’Hare and Susan Sanderson of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Creighton Davidson O’Hare, born October 28, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 6 lbs. 2 ozs. and measured 19 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins siblings, McKayla (21), Harley (15), Bryce (10) and Greyson (3).

Grandparents are Ray and Karen O’Hare of Waukon and Roger and Faith Ericson of Lansing.
 

Neal and Crystal Corwin of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Tynlee Rae Corwin, born October 30, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 8 lbs. 9 ozs. and measured 20 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins sisters, Charlee (4) and Brooklyn (2).

Grandparents are Larry and Dixie Corwin of Lansing and Larry and Julie Magner of Waukon. Janet Snitker of Waukon is a great-grandparent.

Danny and Kelsey Eickelberg of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Cael Douglas Eickelberg, born October 31, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 6 lbs. 9 ozs. and measured 21 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins a sibling, Cameron (5).

Grandparents are Doug Ihde and Cindy Ihde, both of Monona, and Dean Eickelberg of Decorah. Great-grandparents are Norma Behrens of Bentonville, AR and Ray and Lola Childs of Marquette.

Kimberly Joy Promnitz and Aaron Keith Youngberg were united in marriage May 15, 2016 at Nazareth Chapel in St. Paul, MN. A reception followed at the Eagan, MN Community Center.
The bride’s parents are Paul and Brenda Promnitz of Waukon. The bride’s grandparents are Lester and Majorie Kiel and Jean Buntrock.

The groom’s parents are Sheldon and Marianne Youngberg of Pocahontas. The groom’s grandparents are Elsa Lenore Youngberg and Joan Wolfe.

Pastor Sid Veenstra conducted the welcome and prayer, with Pastor Duane Smith as the officiant. The bride was given away by her father. The bride’s personal attendants were Ashley Gamer and Genny Scholtes, friends of the bride. The Matron of Honor was the bride’s sister, Katie McCauley. Bridesmaids were Macayla Fryc, Emily Allison, Shelby Martin, Danea Ziegle, Allie Knapp and Morgan Johnson, all friends of the bride. Flower girls were Joy Promnitz and Cora Adams, cousins of the bride.

Nick and Carlyn Lechtenberg of Elgin announce the birth of their son, Stirn Joseph Lechtenberg, born October 4, 2016 at Mayo Clinic Health System in LaCrosse, WI. He weighed 6 lbs. 13 ozs. and measured 19 inches in length at the time of his birth.

Grandparents are Ray and Kerry Wacker of Waukon, Craig and Jane Rood of Elgin, and the late Joe Lechtenberg of Postville. Great-grandparents are Jim and Micki Connor of Waukon, Ray and Shirley Wacker of Boscobel, WI, Sylvia Loftsgard of Clermont, Jim and Edna Lechtenberg of Postville, and Dale Rood of Viroqua, WI.
 

Tyler and Ashley Camp of Monona announce the birth of their son, Bryce Camp, born October 22, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 7 lbs. 8 ozs. and measured 21 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins a brother, Brodyn (9).

Grandparents are Carla Schultz of Monona, Tim Schultz of Swisher and Bob and Debbie Camp of Elkader. Great-grandparents are Lyle and Marion Johannsen of Monona, Dick and Evelyn Rock of Bushnell, IL and Lela Camp of Macomb, IL.

Andy and Shannon Bentien of Prairie du Chien, WI announce the birth of their son, Hayden Charles Bentien, born October 24, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 9 lbs. 2 ozs. and measured 22-1/4 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins siblings Brianna, Miranda, Hunter and Mariah Slaght and Maverick Bentien.

Grandparents are Patricia and the late James Boland of Prairie du Chien, WI and Kevin and Vicki Bentien of Postville. Great-grandparents are Harlin and Imogene Bentien of Monona and Harley and Irma Glawe of Elkader.

Gary Platten and Beth Greilinger were united in marriage at the Allamakee County Courthouse in Waukon Tuesday, October 18. The bride is originally from Greendale, WI and is the daughter of the late Dan and Eileen Bykowski. The groom has lived his life in Harpers Ferry and is the son of the late Cyril and Beverly Platten, also of Harpers Ferry.

A small, informal ceremony was held with daughter of the bride, Ricki Greilinger, as maid of honor. Best man was Kenny Zeimet of San Pedro, CA. Bridesmaids were sister of the bride, Michelle Schweitzer of Mukwonago, WI, and niece of the groom, Jessica Dayton of Belle Plaine. The bride’s attendants were Hillary Ede of Harpers Ferry and Cheyanne Steiber of Waukon.

The couple resides in rural Harpers Ferry.
