Ervin and Barbara Borntrager of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Katelyn Fern Borntrager, born August 24, 2022 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 6 lbs. 5 ozs. and measured 20 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins a sister, Kaylene Rose (15 months).

Grandparents are Amos and Mary Edna Lambright of Waukon. Great-grandparents are Clarence and Ada Borntrager of Waukon.

Charlotte Christianson of Waukon will be celebrating her 85th birthday September 12.

Zack and Chelsey Woodbeck of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Joslyn Jerrilynne Woodbeck, born August 22, 2022 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 7 lbs. 2 ozs. and measured 19-1/2 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins siblings, Kinley (7), Greyson (5) and Braxton (1).

Grandparents are Robert and Peggy Woodbeck of Waukon and Richard and Kathy Speicher of New Hampton. Great-grandparents are Jerrilynne (Dana) Waters of Waukon and Dean Bigalk of Cresco.

Kramer and Alexa Dixon announce the birth of their daughter, Wren Dixon, born August 17, 2022 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 8 lbs. 10 ozs. and measured 21-1/2 inches in length at the time of her birth.

Ken and Debbie Kimball of Waterville will be celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary. They were married September 5, 1992.

Kale and Kenzie McCormick of Asbury announce the birth of their son, Garrett James McCormick, born July 8, 2022 at Finley Hospital in Dubuque. He weighed 8 lbs. 7 ozs. and measured 21 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins a sister, Shaylee.

Grandparents are Tom and Beth McCormick of Harpers Ferry, and Hank and Dea Dea Murray of Bettendorf.
 

TJ and Tatum Iverson of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Ethan Lane Iverson, born August 10, 2022 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 6 lbs. 14 ozs. and measured 20 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins siblings, Evan (8), Levi (6) and Ellis (4).

Grandparents are Phil and Wendy Norton of Waukon, and Steve and Cindy Iverson of Waukon. Mary Ann Burke of Waukon is a great-grandmother.

Jerry and Judy (Cooper)  Sommer of Waukon are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. The couple exchanged wedding vows at St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Waukon August 19, 1962. They have four sons, Joel (Teresa), Jeff (Amy), James (Diane) and Jason (Dacia), in addition to having 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A small celebration with family is planned.
