Lisa Kukkonen and Paul Heitman were united in marriage Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Iowa City.
Marking the occasion, the bride chose to wear her grandmother's wedding dress from 1942.
Matron of Honor was Lisa Connell, friend of the bride, and Bridesmaids were Lori Shelton, cousin of the bride, and Christine Barone, friend of the bride. Best Man was Shawn Schellhammer, friend of the groom, and Groomsmen were Chris Kumpf, brother of the groom, and Nathan Renk, cousin of the groom.
Readers for the ceremony were Amanda Bakker and Veronica Prouty, sisters of the groom, and Andy Kukkonen and Tim Kukkonen, brothers of the bride.
Officiants were Rev. Dr. Mark Pries and Rev. Mark W. Kukkonen, father of the bride.
The bride's parents are Mark and Holly Kukkonen of Iowa City. Parents of the groom are Alan and Lori Heitman of New Albin. Grandmother of the groom is Gladys Heitman, New Albin.

Joe and Tatum Miller of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Kate Constance Miller, born November 11, 2015 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 8 lbs., 10ozs. and measured 19.75 inches at the time of her birth. Kate joins sisters Cora (6) and Tess (4) at home.

Cory and Stacy Miner of Postville announce the birth of their daughter, Dylan Marie Miner, born November 8, 2015 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 8 lbs., 0 ozs. and measured 22.5 inches at the time of her birth. Dylan joins a sister, Regan (2), at home.

Andrea Howe and Ronnie Pitzer, Jr. of Monona announce the birth of their son, Gatlynn Jay Pitzer, born November 10, 2015 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 8 lbs., 6.8 ozs. and measured 21.25 inches at the time of his birth. Gatlynn joins siblings Dillon (17), Tryston (14), Chaise (14), and Ethan (6) at home.
Grandparents are George and Carol Howe of Monona, and Ronnie, Sr. and Diane Pitzer of Eastman, WI. Great-grandmother is Ramona Jelinek of Prairie du Chien, WI.
