Christensen, Gansen to wed

Leanne Marie Christensen and Benjamin Joseph Gansen announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. They plan to exchange vows June 6 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Waukon.
 The bride-elect is the daughter of Tom and Julie Christensen of Lansing and the granddaughter of Jim and Kay Christensen of Lansing and Jim and Karen (and the late Theresa) McCormick of Waukon. She is a 2005 graduate of Waukon Senior High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa. She is currently employed as a Patient Care Coordinator at VGM Homelink in Waterloo.
The groom-elect is the son of Mike and Joyce (and the late Elizabeth) Gansen of Greene and the grandson of Gerald and Marge Gansen of Riceville and the late Chester and Miriam Rouchka of Cresco. He is a 2004 graduate of North Butler High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa. He is currently employed as a Manufacturing Engineer at GMT Corporation in Nashua.

Bill and Pat Moody to celebrate 50th anniversary

Bill Moody and Pat Bulman were married June 8, 1965 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Paint Rock, rural Harpers Ferry. They are the parents of Mike (Jackie), Laurie and Shawn Moody. They have six grandchildren, Dustin, Cody, Cole, Tanner, Faith and Blain Moody.
They plan to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house, hosted by their family, Sunday, June 7 at the Community Center in Harpers Ferry from 1-5 p.m. The couple requests no gifts.

Keith and Virginia Held to celebrate 50th anniversary

Keith and Virginia (Ford) Held were married June 2, 1965 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Waukon. A family celebration in honor of their 50th wedding anniversary is planned for later this summer.
They have one   daughter, Penny Lynn (Bill) Wright of Monument, CO, and two grandsons, Tyler and Connor.

Talana Boney and Stephen Dahlstrom of Clermont announce the birth of their daughter, Raegan Dahlstrom, May 12, 2015 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 8 lbs., 11.4 ozs. and measured 21-1/2 inches in length at the time of her birth.
Grandparents are Catina Dahlstrom of Decorah and Christy Scott of Northwood. Great-grandmother is Jean Fulmer of Waukon.

Imhoff, Sizemore to wed May 22 in lakeside ceremony at sunset

Kendran Imhoff and her children, Akeela, Aliya, Irelyn and Isaac, announce her engagement and upcoming wedding to Jeffery Sizemore. The couple plans to exchange vows Friday, May 22 in a sunset lakeside ceremony at the Honey Creek Resort in Moravia and will live in Hiawatha.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Marlene Imhoff Duffy and the late Kenneth Imhoff and the granddaughter of the late Earl and Kay Moore and Rita and Shanty Imhoff. She is a 1995 graduate of Kee High School and a 2000 graduate of Iowa State University. She currently owns and operates Apple Kids in Cedar Rapids and Marion.
The groom-elect is the son of Rick and Marcie Sizemore. He is a 2003 graduate of Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids and is currently employed at Five Seasons Heating and Cooling in Cedar Rapids.
