Nicole O’Connell and Dillon Dietrich of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Dayton Thomas Dietrich, January 14, 2015 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 5 lbs., 3 ozs. and measured 18 inches in length at the time of his birth.

Ashley and Brian Schulte of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Kole James Schulte, January 6, 2015 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI. He weighed 4 lbs., 15 ozs. and measured 18.3 inches in length at the time of his birth.
Grandparents are Jeff and Amy Sommer and Ed and Janie Schulte, all of Waukon. Great-grandparents are Jerry and Judy Sommer and Abigail Osterholm, all of Waukon.

Leo Knickerbocker and Lisa Pritchard of Farmersburg announce the birth of their daughter, Maclynn Willow Elsa Knickerbocker, January 13, 2015 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 9 lbs., 12.8 ozs. and measured 21 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins a brother, Ryan (15), and two sisters, Ellen (3) and Madelene (19 months).
Grandparents are Gary and Rita Pritchard of Farmersburg and Orvil and June Nuehring of Monona.

Kristin and Dan Muszalski of Wheaton, IL announce the birth of their daughter, Maren Elizabeth Muszalski, November 3, 2014 at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. She weighed 7 lbs., 4 ozs. and measured 20 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins a brother, Nolan (2-1/2).
Grandparents are Nancy Schoh of Dorchester and Joe and Kaye Muszalski of Richton Park, IL. Great-grandparents are Leon and Jane Schoh of Waukon.

David and Karla Hammel of Dorchester and Richard and Debra Preston of Guttenberg announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their children, Shelby Hammel and Matthew Preston. The couple plans to exchange vows January 31 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Waukon. A reception and dance will be held following the ceremony at the Waukon Banquet Center.
The bride-elect is a 2010 graduate of Waukon Senior High School and studied Dairy Science at Northeast Iowa Community College. She is currently employed at Pattison Dairy of Garnavillo.
The groom-elect is a 2008 graduate of Clayton Ridge High School and completed the John Deere Ag Tech program at Northeast Iowa Community College. He is currently employed at Bodensteiner’s in Elkader.

Dave and Cheryl Brandt of Waukon announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their son, Jason Brandt, to Bailey Henry, daughter of Rusty and Teresa Henry of Earlham. The couple plans to exchange vows May 29 in Des Moines.
The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Winterset Senior High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Biology: Biomedical Emphasis. She is currently a graduate student at Creighton University working towards a master’s degree in Public Health Service Administration.
The groom-elect is a 2006 graduate of Waukon Senior High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems. He is currently employed as an auditor at Athene in West Des Moines.

Dana and Derek Johnson of Rochester, MN announce the birth of their son, Victor Wesley Johnson, December 11, 2014 at Olmsted Medical Center in Rochester, MN. He weighed 7 lbs., 8 ozs. and measured 20 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins a sister, Hattie Lynn (2-1/2).
